Our Instuctors

Michele Magee – Michele is originally from Maryland. She is a history teacher at Minnechaug Regional High School and has been teaching for 17 years. This is her third year running the Summer Art Program. She enjoys working with elementary school age children and has 3 small children ages 9, 6, and 2. She loves art and art history.
Meg Sikes – Meg is a retired art teacher from Minnechaug Regional High School. She has been a partner in running the Summer Art Program since its beginning, 25 years ago. Meg enjoys her grandchildren, gardening, and oil painting.

We also benefit from many other aides. High school and college students will serve as counselors.
